COVID-19 Testing for PartnerMD Patients

Need a COVID test? Please call your physician.

Please call your physician to determine which type of test(s) you need depending on your particular situation. A Rapid Antigen test can return a result in as little as 15 minutes. The PCR test must be sent to lab providers and typically return results in 1-3 days.

Please Note: You must be a PartnerMD patient to be eligible for COVID-19 testing at PartnerMD.

How do you schedule COVID-19 testing?

Call your PartnerMD doctor or nurse to determine if you are a good candidate for testing. They will help determine which type of test(s) you need depending on your particular situation.
If you are confirmed as a good candidate, please wear your own mask to the appointment.
Please be on time, but not too early.
Your doctor will call you with the results and the significance of the findings.

Will insurance cover the tests?

Most insurance providers will cover PCR or antigen tests for illness in full. However, they are not always covered for exposure or for travel purposes.
