About the Presenter
Nicole is focused on cutting edge technology and sleep, her most recent projects include: designing climate-controlled mattresses that utilize the same technology as heated and cooled car seats, allowing each person to sleep at their ideal sleep temperature; and working with Columbia Sportswear technology to design Columbia High Performance Sleep Gear. She has been sought after by the Nation’s largest mattress retailer, Mattress Firm to not only design sleep systems, but educate their sales staff on how to properly fit consumers for the right mattress for their individual needs.
During her career she has worked with several manufactures of luxury health-based mattresses, like Nature’s Rest and Kingsdown. In Kingsdown’s sleep lab, she has studied the importance of finding the right sleep surface for your body type, and how to address common sleep problems like: sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, fibromyalgia, and proper temperature regulation at night.
