Dr. Wein received his bachelor’s degree from Duke University and his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in 1985. He completed his internship and residency at Riverside Family Practice, an affiliate of the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Wein is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and Virginia Academy of Family Practice.
Prior to joining PartnerMD in September 2013, Dr. Wein practiced at Bon Secours Patterson Avenue Family Practice. He has also served as medical director for the Elizabeth Adam Crump Manor Nursing Home from 1996–2012 and as assistant medical examiner for the City of Newport News from 1986–1988.
Dr. Wein lives in Richmond, Va., with his wife and two children. His hobbies include volleyball, watching ACC basketball and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies.
Dr. Wein was honored to receive recognition for Best Bedside Manner from OurHealth Richmond magazine in 2019.
