Each spring, Washingtonian asks nearly 13,000 physicians in the DMV to vote for "which colleague they would recommend" in a variety of specialties.
Doctors can submit just one ballot each and cannot vote for themselves. The top vote-getters in each category are then designated as that year's Top Doctors.
