COVID-19 Member Notice: Office Hours, Telehealth, and More Info

June 2nd, 2020 | 2 min. read

By PartnerMD

We hope you and your family are staying at home as much as possible, wearing a mask while in public, and staying safe. We want you to be aware of some updates so that we can keep you as healthy as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic:

Office Hours Update

All PartnerMD offices are operating on a regular schedule – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

We continue to be careful about in-person visits for all offices. This is to limit the spread of contagion as much as possible. Please call your PartnerMD physician, and they will help determine if a phone call, telehealth visit, or in-person visit is most appropriate. Plus, we will still provide the same 24/7/365 access to PartnerMD physician care if you need it outside of office hours.

If an in-person visit is deemed necessary, please follow these protocols:

  • Bring and wear a mask at all times.
  • Come to your appointment alone, if possible.
  • Enter our office at the exact time of your appointment only. If you arrive early, please wait in your vehicle until your appointment time. This will reduce the opportunity for contact with other people in our lobby or shared spaces.
  • Please be aware that your temperature will be checked upon arrival.
  • Until further notice, the coffee and snack bar in our waiting rooms will not be available. We do have items available if you come in early for fasting labs.

Expanded Access to Your Doctor Through Telehealth

Our telehealth capabilities provide even more access to care from your personal physician. You can have a virtual video appointment with your doctor through your smartphone, tablet, or computer. These appointments function the same as an in-office visit, including using your health insurance for coverage, but provide more face-to-face interaction and privacy than a telephone call or email.

As always, if you need care, simply call our office. Your physician will help you determine the best course for your care. If you and your physician decide that a telehealth visit is best, you will receive a link by email or text for your set appointment time. It’s as simple as clicking the link at the appointed time. There is no account set up or password needed.

Stay Well with PartnerMD's Wellness Video Content!

We know these are difficult times to stay positive and maintain healthy habits. To help, our Wellness Team has been producing video content to provide tips and strategies for how to stay healthy right now. You can check out the videos on our Facebook page and on our Healthy Reads blog.

Your health remains our top priority, and we want to do everything possible to mitigate the risk of exposure while providing you the best care possible. We will continue to provide updates via our patient portal, website, email, and social media. If you have any questions, never hesitate to call your PartnerMD physician.
