How does PartnerMD work with insurance?
Your membership fee does not replace your health insurance. We will work with and bill your health insurance company for medical care, including office visits, lab work, and tests. You are responsible for co-pays/deductibles, but your health insurance will cover the costs of approved services/procedures, just as it would if you were seeing a traditional PCP.
Do you take my health insurance?
PartnerMD accepts most health insurance plans. Some companies, like Kaiser, restrict access to network doctors only. We are one of only a few concierge programs that accepts Medicare and Tricare. Can I use my flexible spending (FSA) or health savings (HSA) accounts?
FSA and HSA accounts are primarily applied to medical services only. They work the same way whether you choose to see a traditional primary care doctor or a concierge doctor. Typically, concierge membership fees cannot be applied to an FSA or HSA. But, your membership may include some services that can be applied to one of these tax-free accounts. What if I want to cancel my membership?
You can cancel your membership at any time. We only ask for 30 days' written notice, and we'll prorate your money back.
