Meet Ozzy

As a certified health coach in Short Pump, VA, Ozzy Hussaini has dedicated his career to empowering individuals through health and fitness and guiding them on their journey to wellness and a better quality of life.

Ozzy believes communication is the foundation of an effective health coaching relationship. He gets to know his patients, their routines, and assesses how they feel. He loves to make pursuing a healthy lifestyle simple and sustainable for people.

"I'm curious about what might be holding someone back and what they're aiming to achieve," he says.

Two things led Ozzy to pursue a career in health and wellness. First, he struggled with something many people struggle with – his own appearance.

"I was very skinny in high school. I felt powerless and wanted to find a way to change this," he says. "I found the gym and built up my confidence, and now I have a passion for helping other people do the same."

Second, in college, he started coaching a friend on how to lose weight.

"We worked closely toward a planned goal through diet, nutrition, and exercise, and he ended up losing about 60 pounds," he says, "That’s when I caught the bug with health coaching."

Ozzy joined PartnerMD in April 2024 after working as an online fitness instructor. He also has previous experience working in a gym as a personal trainer.

"I find it rewarding to meet people at their starting point and assist them in reaching their desired outcomes," Ozzy says. "Seeing people succeed and realizing they can do it after second guessing themselves is amazing.”
