Using yoga and meditation is a great way to tackle stress. However, it can be challenging to just get started and trust that you're doing it right. That's why we're here. This program includes:

With all that's happening in our lives, sometimes we just need to find a few minutes to calm our minds.

Led by certified yoga and meditation instructor Yvonne Bull, HarmonizePMD Yoga & Meditation introduces you to restorative yoga and peaceful meditation tactics to relieve stress and calm your mind. 

The four classes occur live virtually on Thursdays at 11:00 a.m., and they are also available on demand.

Note: Any yoga or meditation exercises offered in this program can be modified in a chair or on the floor to meet your physical needs.

HarmonizePMD Yoga & Meditation — 101: Yogic Breath for Meditation

Getting started with either yoga or meditation can be daunting. In this first class, Coach Yvonne starts off slow and walks through the basic information, exercises, and strategies you will need both during HarmonizePMD and beyond. 

This class will provide introductions to:

  • Meditation and breathing exercise. 
  • Aromatherapy and essential oils
  • Creating a home space for yoga and meditation
  • A 10-minute yoga sequence for your head, neck, and shoulders.

HarmonizePMD Yoga & Meditation — 102: So Hum Meditation (Inhaling and Exhaling)

During the second class, you'll progress from the basics of yoga and meditation into specific strategies to reduce your stress. These include:

  • 4-7-8 breath
  • Relaxing essential oils
  • A 10-minute yoga routine for your lower body
  • Sleep and nighttime routines

HarmonizePMD Yoga & Meditation — 103: Sound Guided Meditation

Next, Yvonne takes you through sound-guided yoga and meditation, which uses music tracks, singing bowls, and bells. In addition, you'll continue to explore essential oils and breathing exercises. 

This class covers:

  • Energizing essential oils
  • Breath of fire breathing
  • A 10-minute yoga routine for your arms and spine (including how to reset your spine)
  • Pranayama, especially relaxing pranayama that helps with sleep

HarmonizePMD Yoga & Meditation — 104: Light Guided Meditation

In the fourth and final class of this program, you'll get introduced to light-guided meditation, which focuses on flame and third eye. This class covers: 

  • A lesson on eye yoga 
  • How essential oils pertain to each of the seasons
  • How to develop your gratitude journal
  • A 30-45 minute full body mediation and yoga practice you can do at home
