How does health insurance work at PartnerMD?

We accept many of the most popular health insurance plans in the Richmond area, including Aetna, Anthem, CareFirst, Cigna, Humana, MultiPlan/PHCS, OptimaHealth, and United Healthcare.

Health insurance at PartnerMD works the same as it would at a traditional practice. You are responsible for co-pays and deductibles while your health insurance covers procedures, prescriptions, and other medical expenses. 

Important: Health insurance does not cover the membership fee. It is an out-of-pocket expense.
